According to the post, Davido’s photographer Fortune reportedly drowned at a location in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, on Tuesday evening, September 21, 2021.

“Davido’s photographer Fortune is dead. Jesus Christ. F**k I’m heartbroken, he’s my friend. I’m so heartbroken. It shouldn’t have been fortune God, he’s hardworking, very ambitious, he worked so hard to gain the spot he achieved like wtf,” one of the tweets read.

Before his death, Fortune was the brain behind most of Davido’s photos on Instagram and a member of his crew.

His death came after he was invited to a video shoot location at a private beach In Tarkwabay for a video shoot where he was supposed to take the footage from the shoot. On their way to the shoot, the boat conveying him and the rest crew capsized.

According to a close source who spoke with Zebra News, “it was a location for a video shoot and they were already in high spirit before the boat they rented to convey them capsized due to the waves on the sea.”

Fortune should have survived like many people did on the boat but he was not wearing a live jacket that’s why he drowned when the boat capsized. Before the rescue team arrived at the scene, he has drowned drinking lots of water”. It was a scary scene as his death is on the list of those around Davido who has lost their lives in the past 4 years.

“It’s a shocking situation coming after the 30BG crew are yet to recover from Obama 44’s death few months ago. We pray and comfort with his family because he is the breadwinner of his family and he is a jolly good fellow.” the source further added.

Meanwhile, the news of Davido official photographer death comes just 3 months after the death of the hit maker’s close friend and business associate, Habeeb Ademola Uthman, popularly known as Obama DMW died as a result of a heart condition

My biggest paycheck came from UTV – Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo

Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has disclosed that the highest money he has ever earned as an entertainment pundit was given to him by United Television (UTV).

Arnold who is a regular panel member for the popular United Showbiz programme said although he has practised this profession for several years, it is until recently it started to pick up.

“First, we started this whole entertainment journalist thingy as a passion. But with time, it’s gradually picking up. My highest paycheck came from UTV and I won’t lie about it. Although the recognition for those of us in this profession is low, some of us are pulling our weights,” he stated in an interview with Delay.

Arnold has served as a pundit on various radio and television entertainment talk shows for years, including Peace FM’s Entertainment Review and GhanaWeb TV’s Bloggers’ Forum in his bid to contribute to discussions and shape narratives.

On a number of occasions, he has clashed with celebrities and fans of celebrities who were bruised by his remarks on a subject. Topmost among them is his encounter with Shatta Wale.

The dancehall artiste and the pundit were engaged in a near-fight during UTV’s United Showbiz programme sometime in June 2021. This was after Arnold described Shatta Wale as an inconsistent and confused artiste.

When asked whether he was under any form of pressure after Shatta Wale labelled him a poor entertainment journalist who rocks a GHC2.50p worth of shoe, Arnold said:

“I won’t let Shatta Wale subject me to any form of pressure. I’m not doing badly in life. I’m not in a rented apartment. I have my own place. For someone like me who has been working at the civil aviation for over ten years and I’ve been doing entertainment alongside, just use your discretion and see. I’m good.”
