Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has expressed his disgust over the upheaval in Ejura in the Ashanti Region.

Sarkodie in a tweet said, “Definitely not the ‘Ghana’ we preach to the world.”

His comment follows the gruesome murder of Macho Kaaka in Ejura over the weekend.

There was also a violent clash among the military officers and the youth of the area who were demonstrating in that town on Tuesday, June 29 following the murder.

This led to the death of two persons with four sustaining various degrees of injury.

Information Minister, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah, has relayed the government’s sentiments about events that have ensued in Ejura in the Ashanti Region involving the suspected murder of a social activist Mohammed Kaaka and the subsequent deaths of 2 others.

He described the situation as unfortunate and condemnable.

The Ofoase Ayirebi lawmaker described the action as a crime and urged the security establishment to conduct swift investigations into the murder

He also called for a thorough investigation into the crowd control protocol employed at the scene of the riot in Ejura on June 29 to ascertain a clear sequence of the events of the day that lead to 2 deaths and several injuries.

BBN Reunion was action-packed with jaw-dropping revelations, including the shocking moment when Ka3na disclosed that she had sex with Praize in the house.

Sneering at him, she informed her former housemates and the whole world of her disappointment when she found out he lasts for only 5 seconds in bed.

She screamed, “He says he is in the house just for the game. And he knows that I like him, and he can never ever have anything to do with Katrina. And nobody does that to me. You don’t speak low of me.

Remember what happened? I pulled you to my bed. And I slept with you. And he didn’t last 5 seconds. I left him in my bed, and I went all the way to the sitting room to chill.”

Judging by his response to her accusations, we may never know his side of the story.

‘Let’s flood the courts for June 25 verdict’ – Efia Odo rallies #FixTheCountry supporters

Popular Ghanaian socialite and one of the conveners of the #FixTheCountry agenda, Efia Odo, has asked supporters to throng the Accra High Court in their numbers as the court delivers its final verdict on a case between the group and police.

Touching on the importance of their massive attendance for the June 25, 2021 verdict, Efia Odo stressed that supporters of the cause must turn up at the courts and not just sit home and relax.

She also encouraged persons who may be losing hope in the fight to remain resilient until the very end.

“I urge you guys to be in the courtroom on Friday to hopefully get a final verdict on #FixTheCountry demonstration. Most of y’all are tired of talking about it on Twitter and are ready to embark on the streets but your attendance speaks volumes. Friday 10:30 am, Accra High Court,” she posted on social media.

It will be recalled that the court scheduled June 25 to deliver a ruling on a case involving protest leaders and the police after the latter secured an ex parte injunction against what was supposed to be a massive demonstration that had been slated for May 9, this year.

Court clashes

Some protest leaders earlier this month clashed with the police at the premises of the Accra High Court during a scheduled hearing.

The protestors alleged that the police at that time deliberately prevented them from entering the court premises.

Artist manager and owner of Bull Haus entertainment, Bulldog. say organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) must apologise to Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale before he attends any of their events.

According to the manager of Shatta Wale, the scheme for so long has disrespected his artist and they have to apologize before Shatta Wale rejoins the scheme.

Speaking on Starr Chat with Nana Aba Anamoah, Bulldog said “Shatta Wale will not attend the VGMA until VGMA come to apologize to him. They have consistently disrespected Shatta. If he decides to join the scheme again I will concentrate on farming that will mean my journey with him will come to an end.

“He has been always overlooking the disrespect to support the culture but it won’t happen again until they apologize. They kept us in jail for a day for doing nothing, it’s sad and disrespectful”

He added that though the scheme is a good one it always makes some artists feel less of themselves when their craft is not recognized.

Commenting on why Ghana was not recognized at the Grammys, he lamented that, the blame should be on the leaders and the industry and not the artiste.

Multiple award-winning artiste Kuami Eugene has applauded the chairman of Angel Group of Companies, Dr Kwaku Oteng, for making endorsement deals appealing in Ghana.

The brand ambassador for Adonko Next Level was speaking on Sports Salad with Saddick Adams on Angel 102.9 Fm.

The VGMA Artiste of the Year signed a lucrative deal with Adonko Next Level energy drink earlier this year. As part of the benefits, the “Open Gate” crooner received a Range Rover.

This according to Kuami Eugene is a gesture worth emulating.

According to him, “Dr Kwaku Oteng has made endorsement deals attractive in Ghana. It is only outside the country that you sign a deal and get all the benefits I am enjoying with Adonko Next Level.”

According to Princess Shyngle, no man can keep a female as his best friend without having sex with her. She shared her own experience on how she used to sleep with her male bestie, even though they were both in different relationships.

The Gambian actress shared a post on her Insta account detailing the delusions of some girlfriend who allow their men to have female besties. Princess Shyngle revealed that her first husband was actually her bestie for 10 years.

She disclosed that his girlfriend at that time believed them and allowed them to hang out together. Meanwhile, they were busily having sex. She then advised girls not to entertain female besties around their man … unless he is 100% gay.

She wrote, “Do y’all agree with me on this one. As for me, there is no way in hell I will let my man have a female bestie. Because I remember when I was forming bestie with someone for 10 years. And his girl believed it.
