We agreed to diss each other at the Asaase Sound Clash – Shatta Wale claims

Shatta Wale has finally revealed why he left the Asaase Sound Clash in anger when he came face to face with his eternal rival Stonebwoy a few months ago.

The show which was first of its kind and organized by Asaase Radio was designed to make the two Dancehall heavyweights in Ghana battle each other lyrically on a live stage to show who wields much supremacy and to put to bed who deservedly has to be called the Dancehall King.

However, fans were hugely disappointed when the show reached an anticlimax after the SM boss stormed out of the place in anger when it got to the segment where they had to lyrically outdo each other.

Shedding light on what truly happened behind the scenes, Shatta Wale told Sammy Flex in an interview that Stonebwoy took things personally that’s why he ‘saved’ the day by leaving the venue.

He, however, maintained that they still have a friendly relationship.

My ‘sponsor’ took away everything after I said no to his proposal – GMB queen

What happens when a man who exposed you to all the finest things in life decides to take away everything when you refuse to pay the ultimate prize of marriage?

This is what happened to the winner of 2012 Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant, Emefa Adeti.

Miss Adeti narrating her story in an interview on Adom TV, monitored by GhanaWeb stated that the man who sponsored her in the competition dragged her “out of the house like a fowl”.

According to her, she never expected the married man to ask for her hand in marriage.

The former beauty queen is quoted as saying: “I was very young, after the competition he asked my hand in marriage but I said no because my vision was big at that time. He was a grown man, people say I should have seen the signs with all the support he provided but I didn’t know.”

Emefa said she doesn’t regret turning down the proposal of being a second wife, adding that, “it was a good decision because I don’t think I could have been able to go back to school.”

“It was one of the most difficult phases in my life because I had a lot of public attention at the time. He really spoilt me with gifts, cars among others. Within a split of a second, I lost everything. He took all the things he had given me. I just woke up one morning to realize that he has taken everything. I had to start everything from the scratch again so I went back to school,” she added.

I have never been a stripper – Stephanie Benson

Ghanaian songstress, @stephaniebensonlive  has asserted that she sees nothing wrong with being a stripper although she has never been one herself.

The Supreme Selector DJ AdviceAdvisere interviewing her via phone call on Happy FM’s Ayekoo After-Drive show was motivated by the sensual nature of her music videos to ask her if she has ever been a stripper, to which she gave this reply.

“I’ve never stripped before. There’s nothing wrong with strippers but I’ve never stripped before. Why would I have to strip?”, she quizzed.

Stephanie noted that a lot of people do not know about her life and her accomplishments just because she does not put her life out there and she personally does not feel the need to say anything. She also mentioned that she sees no need to show off because people need to learn to either accept her as she presents herself or they don’t.

“I don’t have to tell you what I’ve done, who I’ve been with or wh, ere I’ve worked for you to respect me. If you wanna respect me, respect me. If you don’t, I don’t care. You can talk as much as you want but it doesn’t affect me. I think being seductive is a part of who I am. It’s always been a part of my act for a very long time”.

She stated that she does not care what Ghanaians think about her and she does not need to prove herself to anyone because she has written music with and for many other big acts internationally and she believes that her talent pretty much speaks for itself.
